We are currently looking for experienced Structural Drafters at Senior and Principal level to join our Transport team. Both permanent/contract positions are available.

As a minimum you will have experience of Transport infrastructure projects which include rail, roads and highways and possess:

• appropriate level of experience of drafting and detailing of  bridges, retaining walls, tunnels
• a good understanding of reinforced concrete and steelwork detailing
• diploma,  advanced diploma or equivalent tertiary qualifications
• knowledge of Australian Standards
• AutoCAD and/or Microstation 2D CAD skills as a minimum
• 3D CAD experience or understanding
• the ability to work well within a team and a positive attitude to your work

You must also be able to:

• lead and deliver CAD for projects on time and to budget
• supervise other drafters and manage workload
• communicate effectively with Project Managers and engineers
• drive CAD best practice

The successful candidates will have experience in a similar environment and have the ability to liaise effectively and build relationships with colleagues.

Experience in the production of CAD documentation to RTA and RailCorp standards from concept stage to construction drawings will also be beneficial.
